The Blood of Jesus
Justification is far more than just being declared innocent.
Justification means to declare one righteous.
Not only that you are cleared of every wrong you have committed or will commit but that you have done everything right and will do everything right in the sight of God.
You have to be declared righteous to enter into the presence of God and His heaven..
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
A christian has peace with God because they have been declared righteous.
What the Bible associates with peace.
love, joy, faith, grace, honor, righteousness, mercy, safety, security
All of these attributes of peace with God are yours because of being declared righteous.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
The righteous Holy Blood of Jesus covers all your sins and imparts to you His holiness.
You are as Holy as the Blood that covers you.
Not because of you or anything coming from yourself it is completely dependent upon the Blood of Jesus.
Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
When the Blood of Jesus was applied to you, how long does it last?!
Faith in the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ causes the blood of Jesus to be credited to Your account.
A Christian is declared righteous by God because of the Lord Jesus Christ substituting His life for yours.
Praise God it's all on Jesus and I can trust Him!
1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God.
All of your sins past, present and future are in view.
Jesus has forgiven you for all of your sins!
Jesus did this two thousand years ago,all of your sins were future when Jesus died on the cross.
Jesus paid up front for everyone who would believe.
It is finished. Paid in full.Glory to God!
Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
God sees a person who has put his trust in Jesus as He sees the Blood of Jesus. Holy, undefiled pure, righteous.
Every sin and accusation of sin was nailed to the cross!
1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
If you are a born again Christian you are as holy as the Blood that has bought you.
2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Your Justification does not depend on what you have or have not done. It completely depends on the Lord Jesus Christ and His Blood Atonement for you.
Salvation is resting in the work and sacrifice of the resurrected Jesus! Jesus Christ is the only hope of a person being Justified. (declare righteous)
Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Tit 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; Tit 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Justification is a once and for all pronouncement upon a person who has put their faith in Jesus Christ.
Justification is not a process. Jesus went through the process to justify you (death, burial, resurrection); all you have to do is receive it by faith.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power (authority, right, liberty, power) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
The Blood of Jesus gives you full authority to be a child of God.
Heb 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
How do you know that you are a child of God? God bears witness in your heart.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Heb 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Jesus' Blood covers sin eternally!
If the Blood of Jesus didn't cover your future sin then Christ would have to come back and be sacrificed over and over again.
Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Your faith rests entirely on the holiness of the Blood of Jesus atoned for you.
You enter God's presence based upon the blood and it declares you righteous, holy, prefect before God! Enter Boldly!
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Heb 10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God; Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Don't live in past defeats (no one drives down the road looking in the rearview mirror)
Let the Blood of Jesus do its full work in your life.
The Blood will make you victorious!
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
